Let's assume, for this project, that I have a group of audio files that are already mastered. They were previously rendered and exported at their native sample-rate and bit-depth (24-bit, 48 kHz in my case), because I want to use Goodhertz's algorithms for the final conversions during authoring.
It's important to note that a Triumph project can contain audio of any sample-rate, bit-depth, and channel count.
I'm starting with a new, empty project document for this authoring project.
The first thing I need to do is bring in my assets. There are a few ways for me to do this.
- File > Import
- Using the Import and Generate Tool
- Drag and drop files into the Assets pane
- Create a custom keyboard command for File > Import in Preferences > Commands. Import is listed in the File Menu group
By default, Triumph will add my assets to new Layers as soon as they are imported. Depending on the task this may be the most desirable and quickest way to get started. For now, I have disabled this feature in Preferences > General.
Now that I've brought my assets in, I need to get them into Layers and arrange my Layers.
